Which net is this?

Upload a topology and this page will tell you whether it is a net the collection holds — by name, not by resemblance.

The answer rests on the canonical Systre key, which is an invariant of the net's quotient graph. The same net written in a different cell, with the vertices numbered differently, or with every coordinate nudged, gives the same key; two different nets do not. So this is an identification rather than a similarity score, and it answers yes or no rather than offering a ranking.

It identifies the net — the abstract periodic graph. It says nothing about the material a file came from, and it is not a search for a structure: coordination-sequence search is on the search page, and it answers a weaker question.

Same question from a script: POST /api/v1/nets/identify with the file as multipart file. It answers 200 for a match, 404 for none, 422 for a graph Systre will not key and 400 for a file that could not be read — so a client can branch on the status line. API documentation.
